UPA Gives You a Voice

Becoming a member of UPA gives you a voice that is heard within the healthcare community. Issues that are important to you as a physician become important for UPA as a whole. As part of our physician advocacy efforts, UPA offers members several benefits:

Gain a Voice for Physician Interests

You have an opportunity to call attention to a real-world challenge or issue that matters to you as a physician, and to build awareness about it within a multispecialty single group structure.

Leverage Strength in Numbers

With each new UPA member, our influence in the healthcare community grows.

Negotiate Better with Large Corporations

UPA gives you the benefit of group purchasing power.

Enjoy "Network Benefits" as UPA Develops Them

UPA is committed to harnessing the full potential of its group members through a variety of intiatives. For example, we are currently evaluating doctor-to-doctor secure messaging and electronic health records.

Retain Your Autonomy

UPA was founded to empower physicians through strength in numbers, but UPA members still retain substantial autonomy. UPA members are free to practice where they want, operate their division how they want, and include in their division who they want. UPA is committed to providing the greatest physician member autonomy which is clearly within legal guidelines. (See UPA's Legal Structure.)

UPA members are also free to continue promoting their division under their own name.
