Benefit #1: UPA Reimbursement Rate Optimization Service

Your membership includes a subscription to the UPA Reimbursement Rate Optimization Service. On your behalf and on a regular basis, we will:

  • Continue to review negotiated rates from all members across all insurance carriers and across all specialties
  • Continue growing our database of rates as new members join, analyze that data, and distribute it to members
  • Stay abreast of reimbursement rate trends

Benefit #2: UPA Patient Care Improvement Initiatives

Your membership also includes a subscription to the UPA Patient Care Improvement Initiatives (PCII). We will work with you and your staff to incorporate a growing list of programs to help you deliver better patient care without requiring more time. Our patient care programs include:

  • Discounted Access to a Patient Education Library branded to you
  • Access to the UPA Patient Survey to help you understand the patient experience at your practice
  • Access to new patient care improvement programs as they become available

Benefit #3: Ancillary Membership Benefits

All UPA members will have access to the UPA Membership Forum, a doctors-only messageboard where UPA members can have open discussions about the issues important to us in all aspects of medicine today, ranging from patient care and quality concerns to business opportunities and insurance issues. UPA will provide a legal environment in which all relevant physician discussions can occur.
